Summary: Conversions consume credits. All credits are non-refundable where permitted by law. Service provided “as is”.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Convert3Dfiles (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Convert3Dfiles provides local, browser-based 3D file conversion with optional export and Stripe-powered credit purchases and subscriptions.
3. Definitions
- Credits: units that enable file conversions within the Service.
- Free Daily Credit: up to one complimentary credit per 24 hours, if offered.
- Purchased Credits: credits bought à la carte via Stripe.
- Pro Credits: credits issued under a recurring subscription plan.
4. Credits & Payments
- Each conversion consumes credits.
- Purchased Credits expire 24 hours from purchase unless otherwise stated.
- Pro Credits renew each billing cycle; unused Pro Credits expire at the end of the cycle.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
- No refunds. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all Credits are non-refundable whether used or unused. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
- Once a conversion has started, the credit redemption is final regardless of output quality or compatibility.
- You may cancel subscriptions anytime to stop future renewals. No partial-period refunds.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, or resell the Service; reverse-engineer, scrape, bypass or tamper with credit/account mechanisms; or use the Service to process unlawful or infringing content.
7. Intellectual Property
Convert3Dfiles™ and all related code, designs, and trademarks are owned by Shapemaker Studios AB, organization number 559575-3889.
8. No Warranty
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Conversion quality may vary depending on source files.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shapemaker Studios AB shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue shall be in Swedish courts.
Summary: Files are processed locally. Stripe handles payments. Analytics is only used with consent.

- File data: Uploaded 3D files are processed locally in your browser. We do not permanently store your files on our servers.
- Payment & subscription data: Processed by Stripe, including transaction/subscription IDs, status and amounts.
- Technical and transaction data: Limited technical information related to payments, security, fraud prevention, error handling and service performance.
- Analytics data: If you consent, we use Google Analytics to understand usage patterns and improve the Service.

- To allocate Credits and manage Pro subscriptions.
- To provide and improve conversion functionality.
- To secure and maintain the Service and comply with legal obligations.
- To understand usage and improve the Service, only where analytics consent has been given.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
- Contract: to provide the Service, process credit purchases, manage subscriptions and provide support.
- Legal obligation: to retain transaction records and comply with accounting, tax and legal requirements.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, troubleshoot and improve the Service, and prevent misuse or fraud.
- Consent: for Google Analytics and non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
4. Sharing of Data
- Stripe for payment and subscription processing.
- Google Analytics, if you consent to analytics cookies or similar technologies.
- Legal where required by law or valid requests.
- We never sell your personal data.
5. Data Retention
Payment, subscription and transaction records are retained as long as necessary for accounting, tax, legal compliance, support handling and legal claims. Conversion files are not stored permanently by us.
6. Security
We implement reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no online service is 100% secure.

- Right to access, correct or delete your personal data.
